This resource was signposted on Twitter as a useful resource (by @ellyob – thanks!) and I agree, it is! Simply put – it’s a glossary that can support information work – most notably critical appraisal work.
It is not going to tell you *how* to critically appraise research – for that I would recommend checking out the work of Trish Greenhalgh or CASP but rather it can be used as a prompt or introduction to terminology used within research, specifically health research. From simple terms such as ‘sample size’ or ‘selection bias’ to more complex terms such as ‘intention to treat analysis’ . It is a really helpful guide.
